Our Mission & Vision

It is the vision and mission of Moore’s Preparatory School to demonstrate the love that God has for each child as an individual. It is our goal to share the Word of God and to make it known to each child that God has wonderfully made the child. The child is a special gift to our world, creatively gifted, and God has a special purpose for them. This includes children with special needs (i.e, children living with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other physical or developmental differences).

 Our goal is to provide a high quality education (we teach using the A-Beka curriculum), along with an environment that is safe, warm, loving, nurturing, and a happy place for the child. The curriculum is designed to help the child develop a sense of security, to develop an interest and joy in learning, to develop creativity and self-expression, and develop the ability to learn with other children in a social environment. We want to promote each child’s feeling of success. The child will be made aware that he or she is a uniquely and wonderfully made individual and that the Creator has a special purpose for their life.

 Added to this, our kindergarten through 6th grade students frequently score above grade level on state testing. Thanks to our curriculum, small classes, and individualized support, our students often exceed the performance of their peers who receive education in the public school system.
